Set up your Salesforce Pardot app

To create a development account and OAuth application in Salesforce Pardot, follow these steps:

  • Request access to the Pardot demo instance here
  • Log in to a salesforce instance that will be sent to you in an email in response to your sign up request
  • If you want to enable bi-directional sync between SalesForce and Pardot (usually, it’s not the case), refer to this guide
  • Go to the Marketing Setup page
  • Add New Business Unit and assign Setup Admin
  • To figure out what Pardot Domain you’ve got, refer to this documentation section

Configure the app parameters in the integration.app platform

  • Add the Pardot app from store in the Integration.app console
  • Click Configure & Test
  • In the Parameters section, select a Use custom parameters toggle / Edit Parameters
  • Fill in Client Id and Client Secret
  • Add scopes your application may require
